    1. You must schedule a time to come and volunteer. We do this for a few reasons:
      1. To alleviate confusion in task assignments
      2. So that we can determine the highest priority tasks for the day based on the number of volunteers scheduled to come in
      3. So that we can prepare work areas with supplies for your scheduled volunteer time
      4. So that staff members know when you will be here so that they can give you more attention and better direction in your assignments
    2. You can either schedule a daily/weekly/monthly volunteer time or just call and let the volunteer coordinator know the days and times you will come in, even if it is on the day you decide you can come.

You can also choose to be notified of other upcoming evening and weekend volunteer opportunities.

Enter through the “Main Office” door (on the Northeast corner of the building).

1108 H Street, Greeley, CO 80631 *note that Map quest has our location incorrect! However, Google maps is correct
  7. What types of volunteer positions are available?
    1. The majority of our volunteers help out in our warehouse. This is where we pack food boxes, sort donated food, build backpacks for the back pack program, repackage bulk food items, gather orders for agencies and assist clients while they are getting food. The immediate warehouse needs vary from day to day.
    2. Other volunteer opportunities are available outside of the warehouse as well. We need people to deliver food packages to homebound clients, prepare hot meals for our Kids Café program, deliver back pack packs to schools, glean, pack food at the Aurora Cannery, help with special events and assist at food drives.
    3. Contact the volunteer coordinator to discuss how your volunteer efforts could best be utilized.

    1. Dress code consists of attire that is clean and appropriate for warehouse work. Closed toe and closed heel shoes must be worn by all volunteers (no sandals, Crocs or clogs). Sneakers are best. No exceptions. This is a safety rule to keep your feet safe from potentially running into pallets or dropped cans.
